Elite Sports Performance & Physical Therapy in Stoughton, MA is seeking a motivated, detailed-oriented, and well-organized professional to lead the Patient Care Coordination team of our established and growing physical therapy outpatient practice. We are looking for a strong leader with excellent staff management and communication skills to manage our dedicated team of Patient Care Coordinators. The ideal candidate is customer service-oriented and committed to helping us provide the highest quality physical therapy care to our patients. Responsibilities for this position include:
- · Managing our PT office administration team of 2-4 Patient Care Coordinators to ensure optimal front desk coverage, customer service, and strong team performance.
- · Effectively providing phone, email, and in-person reception duties.
- · Managing the schedules and caseloads of physical therapists effectively and efficiently to meet productivity goals.
- · Scheduling patient appointments and managing schedules of our clinical teams.
- · Ensuring all physical therapy patients and guests are greeted cordially and an in a timely manner.
- · Verifying patient insurance benefits and demographic information.
- · Obtaining insurance referral and authorizations from third-party payers.
- · Collecting, processing and applying payments to patient accounts.
- · Entering patient and insurance company data into EMR system and running reports as assigned.
- · Maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
- · Assisting in physical therapy marketing efforts (i.e. email newsletters, social media posts, testimonial campaigns, etc.)
- · Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new staff as necessary.
- · Maintaining clean and organized office areas.
- · Other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- · Previous staff management or office management experience in a healthcare office setting preferred (ideally a physical therapy clinic)
- · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- · Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- · Experience working with EMR systems (experience with Empower EMR a plus) and other PT systems (i.e. Medbridge)
- · Ability to innovate and implement new systems to improve work flow and efficiency.
- · Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- · Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- · Ability to work flexible hours, ideally at least two evening shifts per week (until 7:30 PM)
