Athletics Secretary (SSI)
Falmouth High School
37.5 hours/week, 11 months/year (214 days)
(includes 15 days before teachers begin and 15 days after school ends)
2026-2027 School Year
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma with a minimum of two years office/secretarial experience
- Ability to work with students, staff members, and the public in a positive, inclusive, professional and welcoming manner
- Proficient in bookkeeping skills including Quickbooks
- High level of proficiency with computer applications and technology
- Organized and detail oriented with event planning experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and events
- Enjoys working with students, staff, and the public
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may deem appropriate and acceptable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Secretarial support to the Athletic Director
- Responsible for complete bookkeeping for Student athletic accounts, with accounting to the Town Clerk and Town Accountant
- Manage office routines that pertain to mail, telephone, correspondence, and filing
- Assist with all aspects of athletics grades 7-12
- Assist with coordinating coaches nights and sports awards programs
- Create and maintain team rosters and schedules, process reports, end of season reports and assist with communication and correspondence
- In coordination with activities secretary, continually update the FHS athletic website and provide media coverage
- Perform other tasks as needed for the planning and implementation of athletics.
REPORTS TO: Principal, Athletic Director
SALARY: In accordance with the Secretarial contract.
