Position: Administrative Assistant

Organizational Scope:
Reporting directly to the Building Principal, the Administrative Assistant performs functions related to the efficient functioning of the office, including greeting parents, guests, members of the public, faculty, and students in a warm and welcoming manner. The Administrative Assistant may provide support to multiple administrators or directors, and provides support as needed to the administration of the school or office.

Physical Demands:
Most work is performed in a typical office environment requiring minimal to light physical effort. This may include everyday discomforts and distractions of office settings, including proximity to colleagues, temperature variations, frequent interruptions and moderate noise. This position requires the ability to operate a computer keyboard and standard office equipment at efficient speed and for lengthy periods of time.
Terms of Employment, Evaluation of Performance and Salary:
The Administrative Assistant is a year-round, full-time, FLSA non-exempt position. Terms of employment, including evaluation and salary, are covered by the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement with the Nashoba. Salary is commensurate with candidates experience, education and qualifications.
