Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support a highly respected CPA firm based in Little Rock. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office and providing high-level administrative support to partners and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to partners, managers, and accounting staff
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate client appointments
- Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, and financial documents
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, delivering a professional and welcoming experience
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical filing systems in compliance with firm standards
- Assist with onboarding paperwork, engagement letters, and client documentation
- Coordinate office operations, including supplies, mail distribution, and vendor communication
- Support special projects, including tax season logistics and deadline tracking
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a professional services or accounting environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with document management systems is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor with a client-service mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a CPA firm or financial services environment
- Familiarity with tax or audit processes and terminology
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
