POSITION SUMMARY
Lightweight Manufacturing is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Operations team! This position will report to the Managing Director in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. An ideal candidate would be highly organized and skilled at problem-solving, with the ability to think quickly and adapt in dynamic situations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Serve as the first point of contact, creating a positive first impression for all visitors, customers, and vendors.
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments to create a seamless, welcoming experience for all
Manage office supplies and orders
Help ensure a clean, organized, and efficient office environment
Shipping: Set up shipping for parcels and freight shipments
Sales: Assist current and potential customers with product questions and direct customers to appropriate contact within the company
Other Administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
HS Diploma/GED required
Eligible to work in the United States (We are an E-Verify participant)
2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Ability to communicate professionally verbally and in writing in English
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in arranging freight is a plus
Experience with ERP systems or production software is a plus
