Administrative Assistant

Position Summary: This role entails delivering exceptional customer service to CHN residents while also providing administrative support to the compliance department through the completion of the following duties:
The rate of pay for this position is $41,500 to $45,900 per year, paid at an hourly rate (FLSA Non-Exempt) commensurate with experience
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee compliance paperwork and maintain organized filing systems.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry tasks.
- Assist Compliance department with scheduling appointments for recertification.
- Code rental payments accurately and enter them into property management software.
- Prepare rental receipt payments for verification by the accounting team.
- Support the compliance team with audits of OHFA, Syndicators and City
- Participate in LIHTC training seminars to stay updated on compliance regulations.
- Assist compliance staff with mailings for compliance appointments.
- Perform additional task as delegated by management.

- Possess a minimum of two years-five years in administrative role
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Exhibit strong mathematical reasoning skills, capable of calculating rations and percentages Excellent mathematical reasoning skills;
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills & excellent customer service orientation
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills & attention to detail; excellent follow up skills
- Good computer skills including good working knowledge of MS Office
- Must be self-directed and able to perform tasks with minimum supervision
Preferred:
- Low Income Housing Tax Credit and or Section 8 Housing experience preferred

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
