Position Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. The Executive Assistant provides high-level project and administrative support to the Director and contributes to the support of wide-ranging internal and external functions of management initiatives, administrative processes, and special projects. The Executive Assistant is responsible for managing the administrative needs to ensure that the Director’s time is effectively allocated, and that the Director has the information/materials needed to advance the priorities and meet goals for the Stone Center. The Executive Assistant will manage the Director’s travel, departmental Organizational chart, and serve as a liaison with internal and external parties to gather and disseminate information as appropriate.
