Global Science & Technology, LLC. (GST), is seeking an experienced administrative assistant to support senior leadership in the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Satellite Service (NESDIS). This position is located at the NESDIS headquarters offices in Silver Spring, MD and engages with a wide range of support functions. This position has been approved for a hybrid work schedule.
This role assists NOAA leadership in a variety of ways, including potentially helping to manage property, arrange travel, and administer a variety task related to front office requirements. You will liaise between NESDIS branches to ensure that these and other activities are being managed and executed consistently. You will be a team player and function well working across multiple areas and on a variety of tasks.
The support will include all aspects of schedule and email management, communications, meetings and travel coordination, document and pre-brief creation and coordination, and proactive engagement with NOAA, interagency, national, and international partners and organizations.
Primary Duties:
Prepare, document, consolidate, and deliver meeting slide/documentation and other briefing materials
Develop and assist with the administrative support planning process
Implement and document plans and schedules for project leadership
Prepare status reports for presentation by project leadership
Identify potential problems/risks and recommend solutions for action items
Assist with the development of project management templates and guidelines
Verify documentation and project and action items delivery
Develop and maintain documentation: for example, Technical Task Agreements, process documents, policy documents; strategy documents, etc.

Salary at GST is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range or this position and is just one component of the GST total compensation package for employees.
