A growing manufacturing company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting daily office operations, purchasing activities, and customer-related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be sharp, friendly, highly organized, and able to work collaboratively in a small team environment. This role will report directly to company leadership and offers the opportunity to become a key contributor within a stable and expanding organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative support to ensure smooth office operations
- Assist with purchasing activities including vendor communication, order placement, and delivery tracking
- Support bookkeeping functions such as invoice processing, data entry, and record maintenance
- Maintain accurate documentation related to purchasing, compliance, and financial records
- Assist with customer compliance documentation and ensure timely submissions
- Respond to internal and external inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Prepare and format documents using Microsoft Office tools
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
- Support general office coordination and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 2â4 years of administrative experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable, professional, and eager to learn
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to work well within a small, collaborative team environment
