TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Round Rock, Texas.
Summary
The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative support which may include, general administrative support, assisting with setting meetings, communicating with office staff, overseeing all office contractors and vendors, processing and receiving mail and shipments, requisitioning of supplies, and organizing office operations and procedures. The Administrative Assistant will ensure we have a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Provides administrative support to departments and their leadership and performs a wide range of duties that support operations.
- Analyzes and organizes office operations, procedures and other clerical services.
- Interacts and provides support with office operations departments such as IT, maintenance and engineering staff.
- Assists with organizing/preparing for office functions.
- Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
- Assists office staff with shipping and receiving needs.
- Maintains all office amenities, supplies and communicates with vendors.
Requirements and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
- Typically requires a minimum of one to three years experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), PDF and SharePoint.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Advanced people skills with the capacity to cooperate and build constructive relationships at all levels of interaction, both internal and external.
- A powerful sense of the importance to follow-up, follow-through and diligence in all areas of responsibility.
- Must have the ability to work independently, as well as effectively communicate with team members.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Able to work on multiple assignments at once and meet deadlines.
