BELAY Marketing Assistants provide hands-on marketing execution that helps clients maintain momentum across their marketing channels. You’ll create content, manage platforms, coordinate tasks, and support digital workflows that help clients stay consistent and effective.
This role is ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys producing high-quality work, managing details, and supporting marketing efforts across content, social, email, and light design. You’ll work independently, communicate proactively, and maintain a steady, dependable workload for each client you serve.

1099 Contractor | Flexible Remote Role
Starting at $28–$33 per hour, depending on experience and skill set. Contractors are paid monthly based on contracted hours. BELAY does not guarantee hours or client assignments.

As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll support clients by executing the essential marketing activities that maintain visibility, engagement, and brand consistency.
Content & Copywriting
Draft and edit blog posts, emails, captions, and promotional copy
Develop content calendars and assist in planning
Create lead magnets and simple marketing collateral
Social Media Management
Schedule content and monitor engagement on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Respond to comments and messages in the brand voice
Track performance indicators and maintain platform organization
Email Marketing & CRM Support
Build email templates and workflows in tools like Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or similar platforms
Manage segmented lists for targeted outreach
Coordinate email campaigns and track basic metrics
Basic Graphic Design & Digital Assets
Create simple graphics using Canva or similar tools
Support brand consistency through templated visual assets
Audio & Video Support
Perform light editing of short-form audio or video files for social media or online courses
Coordinate production files and uploads
Tech & Platform Administration
Update CRM records and assist with basic marketing automation tasks
Maintain organization across marketing tools

Research, Coordination & Project Support
Conduct vendor or platform research

Must have 2–3 years of professional marketing experience
Experience creating content across social, email, and digital platforms
Proficiency with marketing tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics, or similar
Familiarity with CRM systems and digital marketing workflows
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working remotely and managing multiple projects
Ability to work during standard business hours, Monday–Friday
Equipped with a reliable computer, webcam, smartphone, and high-speed internet
