THE POSITION
The Administrative Assistant – Equipment Shop will play a key role in providing administrative and project support to the Director of Equipment and Shop/Yard Operations and serving as a central point of coordination for day-to-day shop and equipment operations. Our team functions best in a collaborative and interdependent atmosphere, and this opportunity will provide just that as part of a tight-knit group within a larger company structure.
The Administrative Assistant has the primary responsibility for keeping shop operations organized and moving efficiently, including receiving and tracking shipments, maintaining material and equipment-related inventories, coordinating documentation and information flow, and managing all administrative functions within the shop. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working at the center of a fast-paced shop environment.
