Job Overview:
Pay Range: $30.21hr - $35.21hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- High School Diploma and/or BS/BA.
- 5-10 years of administrative experience and/or transferable administrative skills.
- Thoroughly skilled in all administrative duties.
- Ability to handle routine and impromptu assignments with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in general computer applications including email, calendar, word-processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
- Microsoft Office and Google suite experience highly preferred.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task.
- Experience in the biotech industry or supporting project teams is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Support a Director-level and above in Translational Safety as well as immediate staff and functional areas.
- Provide timely, accurate, and effective administrative support and interface with diversified professionals.
- Proactively manage activities associated with moderately difficult projects and handle multiple priorities.
- Coordinate activities with other administrative professionals supporting Translational Safety and the Development Sciences division.
- Maintain multiple complex calendars.
- Facate communications on behalf of the team ensuring key information is provided clearly, quickly, and accurately.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate onsite/offsite meetings and team building events.
- Coordinate travel and conference attendance.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports using standard corporate applications.
- Identify concerns, gaps, or opportunities and offer relevant recommendations and suggestions.
- Work on moderately difficult assignments requiring resolution of issues within defined parameters.
- Solve problems and make decisions within general parameters set by managers.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion regarding sensitive/confidential information.
- Maintain standard tracking tools utilizing computer and software applications.
- Serve as a resource for the department staff and administrative teams.
- Provide back-up coverage for Administrative Professional team members.
- Maintain a strong customer focus and participate effectively in the team.
- May serve as a team leader, coordinating and assigning the work of others.
