Eagle Integrated Services (EIS) is searching for a qualified Administrative Assistant to support our contract with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) at the NRC Region III Office in Lisle, Illinois. The position is on-site and will provide administrative, clerical, switchboard, and information management support. The requisition identifies Martha Pavon as the incumbent candidate and requires a High School Diploma and Public Trust.
The ideal candidate maintains a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the supervisor and staff, works independently with minimal detailed supervision and guidance, and performs various clerical and secretarial duties requiring knowledge of office routines and an understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the work of the office.
What You’ll Do:
Perform switchboard operations, including operating standard telephone equipment and utilizing hard copy and electronic telephone directories, NRC organization charts, and Regional and Headquarters personnel telephone listings.
Perform ADAMS scanning and profiling and data entry.
Provide reception coverage and take messages for Information Management Center staff.
Copy documents and meter outgoing mail.
Process incoming mail and create overnight express mail labels.
Perform various backup administrative duties and other related administrative support functions.
Maintain a professional, polite, attentive, accurate, and responsive approach while handling day-to-day assignments.
Work independently and take on additional tasks as requested.
What You Bring:
Required:
High School Diploma.
Public Trust required.
Minimum 2 years of proven administrative experience.
Typing proficiency of 40 words per minute.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate professionally in English.
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with customer service principles.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 45-minute lunch. On-site except holidays and weekends.
Hourly Rate: $33.05
