The Executive Assistant provides comprehensive, one-on-one support to the Chairman of the Board & CEO, managing his calendar, communications, and events while moving fluidly between company and personal priorities. Essential Functions
Responsibilities
- Owns a full, ever-shifting calendar spanning board, leadership, client, personal, and family commitments, spotting conflicts and resolving them before they become a problem.
- Tracks deadlines and commitments across every priority in flight, following up proactively with the right people so nothing slips and everything lands on time.
- Plans and often personally attends company, board, and personal or family events, managing every vendor and detail so nothing is left to chance.
- Builds in real travel, preparation, and recovery time around high-stakes commitments, treating everyone's time with equal respect.
- Monitors email and other communications, sorting what's urgent, drafting correspondence that reflects the executive's voice, and following up so nothing goes unanswered.
- Holds all information encountered in the course of the role in strict confidence, always.
- Speaks on the executive's behalf accurately and thoughtfully when representing his priorities to others.
- Blends personal and company needs seamlessly, partnering with the broader executive support team, leadership, and family or household contacts to keep everyone aligned.
- Navigates a wide range of perspectives - executives, board members, family, clients, and community contacts - with tact, warmth, and neutrality.
- Uses good judgment on what truly needs direct attention versus what can be handled independently, continually looking for a better way to do the job.

Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting a senior executive, owner, or high-profile principal in an executive or personal assistant capacity preferred.
- Demonstrates the discretion and sound judgment necessary to handle confidential and sensitive information at all times.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft correspondence comfortably on behalf of an executive.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with calendar, email, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours and travel as needed to support events and commitments.

Working Conditions
Normal professional office setting, with periodic evening and/or weekend work to support a fluid schedule and events. Some travel required (less than 25%).
Typical Physical Needs
Requires prolonged sitting, and some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to prepare and communicate reports and correspondence. May occasionally need to lift and carry event materials up to 20 lbs.
