Austin Industrial is currently seeking an experienced Field Office Manager to support projects in the Orange, TX area. We are looking for a highly organized professional who enjoys supporting employees, coordinating onboarding activities, and assisting project teams with workforce and administrative functions.
Position Summary
The Field Office Manager supports project operations through employee onboarding, personnel administration, payroll coordination, workforce reporting, and field office management. This position serves as a key resource for employees and project leadership by helping ensure personnel are onboarded, supported, and ready to work while maintaining efficient office operations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientations, transfers, and workforce mobilization activities.
- Support pre-employment requirements, including drug testing, physicals, certifications, and site-specific credentials.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding onboarding, payroll, benefits, and personnel processes.
- Provide administrative and workforce support to local and remote project locations.
- Coordinate payroll documentation and assist with timekeeping processes.
- Maintain personnel files, workforce reports, and project documentation.
- Support staffing efforts, workforce tracking, and employee record management.
- Assist with invoice processing, job cost documentation, owner billings, and project reporting.
- Maintain project filing systems and general office operations.
- Support safety, compliance, and project closeout activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in workforce administration, onboarding, office administration, payroll support, human resources support, or project administration.
- Experience supporting employees in an industrial construction, maintenance, manufacturing, or similar environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting craft workforce onboarding and personnel administration.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and project accounting processes.
- Experience supporting multiple project locations or remote field operations.
