The Role: Executive Assistant to Confidential Executive
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid
Compensation: $140,000–$150,000 base salary DOE + exceptional benefits

About the RoleThis is a classic Executive Assistant position centered around complex calendar management, high-touch communication, travel coordination, and seamless day-to-day executive support. The executive is looking for a trusted partner who can stay several steps ahead, expertly manage shifting priorities, and create efficiency in every aspect of the day. This role offers significant exposure within a highly regarded organization and is best suited for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an ever-changing calendar, prioritizing meetings and ensuring efficient use of the executive's time
- Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries and logistics
- Serve as a primary point of contact, managing communications with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Prepare meeting materials, briefing documents, agendas, and presentations as needed
- Track action items and follow-ups, ensuring deadlines and commitments are met
- Coordinate both internal and external meetings, including executive-level stakeholders and VIP guests
- Handle expense reports, invoices, and other administrative processes accurately and efficiently
- Partner closely with the executive to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and provide seamless day-to-day support
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests while maintaining strict confidentiality
Ideal Candidate
- 8+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting senior executives or C-suite leadership
- Thrives in an environment that requires agility, discretion, and exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrates outstanding organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong business judgment and the ability to exercise confidentiality at all times
- Calm under pressure and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, resourceful, and naturally inclined to think several steps ahead
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and modern business tools
