We are seeking a highly organized and efficient professional to support two executives within the Dean's office. This role is a temporary backfill for someone on medical leave, with the potential for contract extension or conversion to a permanent position. Located in the heart of Providence, RI, this opportunity offers a chance to work in a vibrant city known for its rich history and cultural scene. The role requires 100% onsite presence, and the department will cover garage parking costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize executives' calendars and schedules
• Draft professional emails, letters, and responses
• Prepare for high-level and large meetings
• Assist in event setup, cleanup, and material preparation
• Coordinate travel arrangements
• Provide executive support and front desk reception duties
• Perform other ad hoc support tasks as needed

Requirements

• 3-5 years of office support experience, preferably in an executive assistant capacity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Strong skills in calendaring, time management, and drafting emails and letters
• Ability to work in a highly confidential and professional environment
• Business casual attire required

Preferences

• Experience in meeting preparation and travel coordination
• Background in event planning

We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, adaptable, and a team player. Punctuality and a pleasant demeanor are essential. The work schedule is flexible, either 8 am - 4 pm or 9 am - 5 pm, totaling 40 hours per week.
