This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced executive support professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments and understands the unique rhythms of the venture capital ecosystem. The ideal candidate is proactive and exceptionally organized, with the ability to seamlessly navigate a constant flow of meetings, investor interactions, portfolio company communications, and rapidly shifting priorities.About the RoleThe Executive Assistant will serve as a trusted strategic partner to the Founder, helping manage the day-to-day operations of a demanding and dynamic schedule. This role is ideal for someone who understands how venture capital firms operate and can anticipate the cadence of fundraising cycles, board meetings, portfolio support, networking events, and investor engagement. Success in this position requires exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to stay several steps ahead while managing multiple moving pieces with ease. The firm is seeking someone who is energized by high-growth environments, enjoys operating at a fast pace, and takes pride in being the person who brings structure, efficiency, and calm to a busy executive's day.Key Responsibilities
- Manage a highly complex and ever-changing calendar, balancing internal meetings, investor conversations, portfolio company engagements, speaking opportunities, and personal commitments
- Coordinate detailed domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries and last-minute schedule changes
- Act as a key point of contact for investors, founders, executives, and external stakeholders
- Prepare meeting materials, briefing documents, agendas, and follow-up communications
- Track priorities, action items, and ongoing initiatives to ensure timely execution
- Help coordinate board meetings, annual planning sessions, offsites, and firm-wide events
- Provide seamless support across both professional and occasional personal matters
- Partner closely with internal teams to ensure alignment across scheduling, communications, and special projects
- Manage expenses, reporting, and administrative operations with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
- Anticipate challenges before they arise and proactively identify solutions
Ideal Candidate
- 8+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting founders, CEOs, managing partners, or senior executives
- Previous experience within venture capital, private equity, investment management, or similarly fast-paced professional services environments strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of the pace, priorities, and demands associated with operating in a venture capital firm
- Highly proactive with an exceptional ability to anticipate needs and think several steps ahead
- Strong relationship-building skills and executive presence
- Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly to changing priorities
- Exercises excellent judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Resourceful, solutions-oriented, and eager to take ownership
