About the Position
Kid's Thrive Dayton is seeking a dedicated and organized Business Office Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and business operations of the facility while supporting staff, families, and leadership to ensure an efficient and positive experience.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily business office and administrative operations.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, documentation, and facility information.
- Support billing, accounts receivable, collections, and other financial processes.
- Coordinate insurance and payer-related administrative activities as applicable.
- Assist with payroll, timekeeping, and employee administrative processes.
- Maintain personnel and confidential business records in accordance with company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, employees, and visitors.
- Work closely with facility leadership and clinical teams to support smooth operations.
- Monitor office processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Assist with compliance, audits, reporting, and other administrative requirements.
- Handle incoming calls, correspondence, and general office inquiries.
- Support employee onboarding and other HR-related administrative activities.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming, and organized business office.
- Perform other duties as assigned by facility leadership.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a business office, healthcare administration, medical office, or related environment preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
