Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Position Purpose: The Digital Marketing Intern will create graphics using Canva, assist with managing the office Instagram account, create e-mail templates in Handshake, take pictures at events and complete other marketing projects in support of our mission to ensure every student develops a career plan and is career ready upon graduation.

The employee may occasionally be expected to lift and move loads of up to 20 pounds. Some very light lifting and carrying, running errands. Work in a comfortable and safe environment. Work will take place in an office in Jack C. Massey Center. Part of work requires taking photos or videos at OCPD events and will require use of a personal cell phone.
Additional Information About This Position
7-10 hours a week, to be worked between the hours of
8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, some remote work allowed as approved by supervisor

| Required Education | Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. Some coursework in Public Relations, Communications, English, Marketing or Design Communications preferred |
| Required Experience | Ability to work independently and accept individual responsibility for projects and assignments A positive attitude towards working in team settings with other student employees and staff members Experience managing or supporting the management of a professional Instagram account Excellent design skills required, including high attention to detail Experience creating e-mail campaigns preferred Photography and/or video production skills a plus but not required |
