Position Summary
Department: Center for Community Transformation
Reports To: Director of Ministry Training
Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
The Ministry Administrative Assistant plays an important role in bringing the Center for Community Transformation’s (CCT) ministry initiatives to life. From community events and workshops to trainings and courses, this position helps create the welcoming, connected, and well-organized experience that allows students, instructors, ministry partners, and community members to engage fully in the work of transformation.
This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys people and finds purpose in serving others. The Ministry Administrative Assistant is often the person helping connect the dots—answering questions, anticipating needs, keeping details moving, and making sure people have what they need to take their next step. The work is varied and often fast-paced, requiring someone who can move comfortably between competing priorities while remaining attentive, gracious, and dependable.
Working closely with students, instructors, ministry team members, contracted partners, and community organizations, this position supports the student registration process, assists with Canvas, the university’s learning management system, maintains accurate participant records, coordinates communication, and provides day-to-day administrative support across CCT’s programs and partnerships.
Behind every registration, email, workshop, course, and partnership is a person who deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and supported. This position helps make that possible. For someone who brings initiative, organization, flexibility, and a heart for service, the Ministry Administrative Assistant offers an opportunity to use those gifts in meaningful work that supports learning, strengthens relationships, and contributes to the mission of our Christian university and the transformation of communities.
