Location: Putnam, CT
Shift: Day Shift, 10 Hours
Administrative Assistant Job Summary
Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support for the Nurturing Families Network. Plans, establishes and coordinates office clerical procedures, record keeping and filing systems as required to facilitate the efficient management of Nurturing Families programs. Performs a variety of tasks including statistical tracking, maintaining data bases, and ordering.
Administrative Assistant Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently performs a variety of office procedures, i.e. data, typing, filing, and record keeping.
- Effectively manages database systems, generate reports from these programs as needed.
- Performs detailed project work requiring analytical, mathematical and creative skills.
- Performs delegated tasks to maintain the policy manuals for NFN
- Assists in department compliancy for The Office of Early Childhood
- Attend staff meetings as applicable
Administrative Assistant Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
- Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Minimal of three (3) years Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge preferred.
