The Role: Executive Assistant to Confidential ExecutiveLocation: Hybrid | New York, NYCompensation: $140,000–$180,000 base DOE + bonus + exceptional benefitsIndustry: Venture CapitalAbout the Opportunity:We're partnering with a highly regarded venture capital firm in New York City to identify an exceptional Executive Assistant to support a confidential executive. You'll enjoy the pace, exposure, and professional network that comes with venture capital, all while serving as a trusted business partner to a dynamic executive at the center of the firm's investment activity.The Day-to-Day:
- Manage an ever-changing calendar, balancing investor meetings, board meetings, portfolio company meetings, and internal priorities
- Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries, accommodations, and last-minute changes
- Prepare meeting materials, investment committee packets, board books, agendas, and briefing documents
- Serve as the primary liaison for founders, LPs, portfolio executives, investors, and other external stakeholders
- Coordinate logistics for board meetings, annual meetings, investor events, and firm offsites
- Process and reconcile executive expense reports and corporate credit card transactions
- Track action items across meetings and ensure timely follow-up on key initiatives
- Partner closely with other Executive Assistants to coordinate executive schedules and cross-functional priorities
- Manage confidential correspondence, documents, and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion
- Support special projects, research initiatives, and operational priorities as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience within venture capital, private equity, investment banking, hedge funds, asset management, or another fast-paced financial services environment
- Expertise managing complex calendars, travel, and executive logistics across multiple time zones
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining a calm, solutions-oriented approach
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- A proactive, service-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate needs before they arise
- Bachelor's degree preferred
