QUALIFICATIONS:

JOB GOAL:
To provide high-level, confidential administrative support to the Superintendent, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of Bristol Warren Regional School District. This role requires seamless collaboration with a job share partner to maintain continuous, professional coverage for the Superintendent's Office.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage and maintain the Superintendent's complex calendar and scheduling.
2. Screen and manage telephone and email communications, providing assistance or directing inquiries to appropriate resources.
3. Serve as a professional point of contact for visitors, ensuring they are received and directed appropriately.
4. Oversee and update District website to ensure accurate public relations and effective communication.
5. Coordinate verbal and written communications with parents, students, staff, and community members in consultation with the Superintendent.
6. Independently prepare comprehensive reports, questionnaires, and surveys as mandated by local, state, and federal agencies.
7. Access and safeguard confidential information related to collective bargaining, labor management, union grievances, and policy review.
8. District Records Office for Access to Public Records Requests.
9. Perform additional duties and assume responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Twelve-month year. This is a job share position within a 40-hour work week (8:00AM-4:00PM). The anticipated schedule for this share is 8:00AM-12:00PM, five days per week. Benefits and salary to be negotiated. Pay range is $35-$40 an hour.
EVALUATION:
Performance will be evaluation annually in accordance with the School Committee's policy on the Evaluation of Administrative Personnel.
