Position:         10-Month Secretary 

Effective:        September 1, 2026

Responsibilities: Provide secretarial support to Preschool Program and Freehold Learning Center

Qualifications:

• High School diploma required
• Prior experience in an office environment preferred
• Working knowledge of basic office equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Applications
• Proficient knowledge of Genesis, Frontline preferred
• Working knowledge of the Purchase Order process
• Must have the ability to learn software applications quickly
• Detail oriented and ability to multitask
• Must be able to independently manage areas of responsibility
• Strong communication and follow up skills
• Spanish speaking preferred

Reports To:                Director of Special Programs/Building Principal

Salary Guide:            10 MonthStep 1:  $54,667

The Freehold Borough Public Schools is a Pre-K � 8 District in Monmouth County, NJ with a diverse student population of approximately 1,500 students. The district is comprised of two elementary schools and one middle school. Eighth grade students attend the Freehold Regional High School District.
