Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote the mission of Bishop O†Gorman Catholic Schools
- Maintain, monitor, and manage student database utilizing Infinite Campus according to state and district policies and procedures including registration of new students, updating personal demographic information, assisting with scheduling, recording grades/grade changes, running various ad hoc reports, communicating with admissions and business office to track student enrollment, end of year and new year processing, maintaining cum folders and records including birth certificates, immunization records, assessment scores, etc., preparing and sending final transcripts for seniors
- Coordinate grade reporting including directing teachers in the procedure, printing and mailing progress reports, collecting data for various reports that may include grading
- Facilitate the student enrollment process by scheduling appointments with incoming students and families, obtaining required paperwork, requesting records from previous schools. Create enrollment packets for new students. Copy and mail student records as requested.
- Assist in the coordination of college and scholarship applications including providing transcripts and other requested information. Create and maintain a scholarship database. Coordinate and inform students of college visits, etc. Assist in organization and planning of parent information nights
- Update & coordinate printing and publication of course description book
- Assist with organizing and planning for registration and administration of assessments including PSAT, Pre-ACT, AP, and ACT
- Coordinate Senior Awards mass including determining eligibility for President’s Award for Academic Excellence & Regents’ Scholars and ordering/preparing appropriate certificates, updating script annually, handling all logistics of the awards presentation, provide senior names with awards received for commencement brochure
- Assist with registration process including incoming freshmen registration, drivers education registration, and summer school registration
- Provide logistical support for summer school courses including attendance monitoring, grade reports, etc.
- Assist principal with coordinating all back-to-school information for faculty, parents, and students including mailings, updating meeting schedules, organizing pre-service, etc.
- Provide clerical support for both counseling and administrative offices during summer months including ordering and inventorying supplies for upcoming year, receiving deliveries, distributing mail, monitoring phones, sending necessary communication, etc.
- Assist with Service Clubs of Sioux Falls Community participation information
- General clerical support for the counseling office
- Perform various duties as assigned
