The Role: Executive Assistant to Founders (Contract to Hire)
Location: South San Francisco, CA (Onsite 5 days/week)
Compensation: $55-$65/hour

A fast-growing early-stage startup is seeking a highly adaptable Executive Assistant to support two Founders during an exciting stage of growth. This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role where no two days look the same. You'll become a trusted partner to the leadership team while helping shape the day-to-day operations of a company that's building something meaningful from the ground up.
This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, and is excited to contribute beyond traditional executive support. In addition to partnering closely with the Founders, you'll help ensure the office runs smoothly and creates an exceptional experience for employees and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive calendar management for two Founders, balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate complex meetings, travel, itineraries, and logistics.
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and follow-up action items.
- Act as a trusted partner by anticipating needs, solving problems, and keeping priorities on track.
- Support internal events, team gatherings, and company-wide meetings.
- Assist with office operations, including vendor coordination, office supplies, inventory, and general workplace organization.
- Welcome guests and help create a positive, well-run office environment.
- Partner across teams on special projects and operational initiatives as the company continues to scale.
- Jump in wherever needed, bringing a positive attitude and solutions-oriented mindset.
Ideal Background
- Executive Assistant experience supporting founders or senior executives, ideally within a startup or high-growth environment.
- Comfortable balancing executive support with office management and workplace responsibilities.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Able to prioritize shifting demands with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
- Proactive, resourceful, and energized by building processes in a growing company.
