Job Title: Parents as Teachers Secretary/Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Parents as Teachers Coordinator
Receives Guidance From: Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Programs
Overtime Status: Compliant with position, salary and FLSA regulations
JOB SUMMARY:
The Parents as Teachers (PAT) Secretary provides administrative support to the Parents as Teachers program by managing office operations, maintaining confidential records, scheduling appointments, preparing reports and correspondence, and serving as a point of contact for families and community partners. This position works collaboratively with PAT Parent Educators and the Early Learning Collaborative to prepare, coordinate, and facilitate hands-on educational events and activities for children and families. This includes assisting with the planning, setup, organization, and implementation of developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children from the prenatal stage through age five.
