Substitute Secretary
The purpose of this position is to perform secretarial, reception and bookkeeping functions in support of school administrators and staff. The work is performed under the direction of the Principal/ Director.
The following duties and requirements are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Greets, screens, assists and directs callers and visitors; responds to inquiries; provides information; takes and relays messages, etc. May answer and respond to intercom requests and inquiries. Answers door bells and locks schools. Must be able to consistently greet people warmly both in person and on the phone. Performs data entry functions. Requires a strong comfort level around people of all different types of backgrounds and of young people of all ages.
Performs other related functions as assigned or required.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma and one (1) year of related secretarial experience or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience working with students or children preferred.
HOURLY RATE: $21.53 per hour; No benefits; Per diem
