Position Summary
The Office of the General Counsel is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and proactive Executive Administrative Assistant to join our team.
This is not a traditional legal assistant position. While legal or executive administrative experience is certainly valuable, we're looking for much more than someone who can manage calendars, answer phones, or prepare documents. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping people, learning new things, and keeping an office running smoothly.
This position supports the General Counsel and Legal Department while interacting with Tribal leadership, departments, outside counsel, government agencies, and business partners. No two days are exactly alike, and priorities can change quickly. Success in this role requires sound judgment, discretion, initiative, and the ability to remain organized while managing multiple responsibilities.
We believe technical skills can be taught. Curiosity, initiative, sound judgment, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help others are much harder to develop. That's why we hire for both aptitude and attitude.
About Our Team
We are a small Legal Department that believes the best work is done collaboratively. We value professionalism, accountability, mutual respect, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
There is no "that's not my job" mentality here. Everyone contributes to the success of the Department, whether that means assisting with a major project, helping another team member meet a deadline, or finding a better way to accomplish a task.
We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates professionally, builds trust, and enjoys being part of a team. We value people who anticipate needs, solve problems, and keep projects moving forward.

Why Join Our Team?
