Job Description:
Job Summary: The Office Manager is responsible for coordinating business and daily office operations. This position completes/coordinates tasks such as work processing, staff scheduling, report preparation, office supply and equipment maintenance, policy and procedures updates and other clerical services.
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:
- Evaluates and develops office procedures and processes to ensure the office is operating efficiently. Makes recommendations to leadership regarding procedural or process changes.
- Ensures daily operations align with departmental and organizational goals and objectives.
- Creates staffing schedules and informs leadership of issues regarding staff coverage, communicates with needed departments including Academic Affairs, GME office, etc.
- Manages the maintenance, inventory and purchase of office supplies.
- Coordinates the development, tracking, reporting, and improvement of performance metrics for the department.
- Supports providers via departmental processes and procedures. Assists with reminding providers of required education or credential renewal.
- Participates in applicable compliance education and system integration and continuing quality improvement efforts.
- Manages departmental relationships across the network to effectively promote the strategic operational goals of the department and network.
- Provides support to department leaders in preparation for regulatory visits and other business matters.
- May assist with the development of departmental budgeting and strategic direction for the department.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
- 5 plus years of relevant office management experience.
- Proficient user in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
- 1 plus years of experience in a healthcare environment.
