Army Residence Community (ARC) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager (Long-Term Care)to join our exceptional Health Care team. What You'll Do
As the Business Office Manager, you'll oversee the daily financial and administrative operations of our Health Care Center while serving as a trusted resource for residents, families, insurance providers, and our interdisciplinary team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing resident admissions and financial documentation
- Verifying Medicare, TRICARE, managed care, and other insurance eligibility
- Processing Medicare and TRICARE billing and ensuring accurate coding
- Assisting residents with Long-Term Care Insurance claims
- Maintaining accurate resident census and payer information
- Coordinating insurance authorizations and renewals
- Working closely with Rehabilitation, Nursing, Admissions, and Finance departments
- Monitoring accounts receivable and bad debt
- Preparing monthly reports and supporting financial audits
- Serving as the primary billing liaison for residents and families
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and organizational requirements
- Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in long-term care or skilled nursing business office operations
- Knowledgeable in Medicare, TRICARE, managed care, and long-term care insurance billing
- Organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Able to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Professional, ethical, and committed to teamwork
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field required
- Minimum of two years of long-term care business office experience required
- Healthcare billing and insurance experience strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or transfer up to 50 pounds
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
