Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides support to the County Solicitor by performing general clerical and project related tasks.
Essential Duties
- Provides administrative support to the County Solicitor and staff.
- Assists with intake triage, including receiving and routing matters as needed.
- Maintains timekeeping information and related office records.
- Assists with calendar management, scheduling, and coordination of office activities.
- Handles mail management, including receiving, sorting, and distributing mail.
- Assists with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Performs general clerical and administrative duties to support office operations.
- Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school graduate; college preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple office priorities.
- Must be organized and able to maintain accurate records and files.
- Ability to work with diverse personalities in a professional office setting.
- Familiarity with basic office software.
- Ability to learn and use relevant databases.
