QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or General Education Degree, college education preferred
- Previous secretarial, teaching, or intervention experience preferred
- Knowledge of word processing, data bases, spread sheets, and reports
- Competence in typing, filing, and general computer knowledge
- Knowledge of automated office equipment and efficient office procedures
- Ability to work well with students, staff, and the public
- Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Maintain confidentiality of staff and students
- Understanding of admissions, enrollment, and student records for an educational organization
- Understanding of student retention issues, as well as the federal and state law, administrative rules, and Board policy regarding student records
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY TO
Principal, Director of Secondary Education, and Director of Business
JOB SUMMARY
To provide support for student enrollment, manage PowerSchool, support counselors, and provide interventions and student support.
Registration, and Record-Keeping
- Develop and accurately maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures
- Maintain academic records, course offerings, verify enrollment, assist in coordinating graduation, implement applicable student policies in accordance with accreditation standards and federal and state law, administrative rules, and Board policy pertaining to privacy
- Compile statistical information and prepare reports
- Manage Powerschool
- Resolve problems regarding the management of student records
- Organize and perform registration and enrollment tasks
- And all other duties as assigned.
Student Support and Intervention Duties
- Run weekly grade reports and email parents and students
- Identify struggling students
- Communicate with RHS administrators, special education teachers, counselors, parents, and faculty
Set up intervention meetings, facilitate tutoring, and check-ins for at risk students
EVALUATION
Performance of this position will be evaluated by the building administrators in conformance with federal and state law, administrative rules, and Board policy.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This position shall be considered in all respects "employment at will".
