Input Technology Solutions is hiring an Administrative Assistant II to support legal and military administrative operations in a professional office setting. This role combines clerical support, records management, customer interaction, and research tied to military legal workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical support including correspondence preparation, Excel spreadsheet development, file creation, recordkeeping, and management of phone messages, email, fax, and letters.
- Conduct research and communicate with internal and external entities, notify appropriate organizations based on reporting requirements, and draft documents, reports, and forms for military legal signature.
- Screen and direct calls, visitors, and incoming correspondence to the proper personnel.
- Interface with visitors, conduct record checks for required signatures, and answer questions related to legal support services.
- Identify and elevate workflow issues, provide administrative support to work directors, and compile daily production statistics and related reports.
- Manage databases using the guidelines and references appropriate to each case.
- Establish and maintain hard-copy and electronic files, office documentation, and research records while operating standard office equipment and software.
- Prepare special reports, summaries, and responses to inquiries using information gathered from reports, correspondence, documents, and other offices.
- Research administrative issues and relay findings to military personnel and management.
- Use current task-specific software applications in support of daily operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience performing military administrative duties in a military legal professional office setting.
- Familiarity with current DoD and Navy directives related to military legal correspondence and proficiency in Naval correspondence.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with the Military Personnel Manual, JAGMAN, and Uniform Code of Military Justice for task-related research and support.
