Under the supervision and direction of the Court Administrator, the Judicial Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Magistrate, performing clerical duties, and executing customer service functions.
Acts as Assignment Commissioner and provides administrative support to the Magistrate
Schedules hearings and issues notices through the court case management system
Prepares documents as directed
Prepares and manages the Magistrate’s calendar
Ensures caseflow and workflow processes in accordance with Supreme Court guidelines
Provides exceptional service to court visitors and callers, including attorneys, witnesses, and the public, by answering inquiries, providing information about court procedures, and directing individuals to appropriate resources
Performs any other tasks necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the Court
Individuals must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License
Associate degree or Paralegal certification preferred
Ohio Public Notary commission required within 60 days of employment
