The Administrative Marketing Assistant provides administrative support to the club Sales & Marketing Director for both Marketing and Administration. This position works closely with the Sales & Marketing Director to support the marketing efforts of the club, interacts with internal and external clients at all levels of the organization and provides guidance, direction and information to employees and supervisors at the club.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare daily updates to the club websites with information from all club departments.
- Maintain databases and files for membership and prospective members.
- Coordinate and track member and prospective member activity.
- Respond to routine membership and prospective member inquiries.
- Conduct research on prospective membership leads as needed.
- Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing (DSM) on all marketing campaigns, beginning with the organization of campaigns (marketing plan), writing copy & building all creative, to ensure successful execution, and ending with the analysis of campaigns.
- Write copy & build creative for all flyers, club calendars, menus, & other integral club collateral like the Member Guide, Tournament Proposal, LGA Roster Booklet, etc.
- Manage all social media platforms & our paid search campaign.
- Hold collaborative meetings & interdepartmental communication to ensure cohesion, consistency, & quality of all in-house materials.
- Handle club-to-member communication by coordinating the Weekly Wire, updating the member website & app, writing & sending other email communications, and any other necessary media.
- All administrative tasks, including answering calls/emails when DSM is unavailable, scheduling meetings, updating ForeTees & Marketing Cloud email groups, updating Salesforce, and sending exit surveys.
- Member relationship tasks including assisting with technical issues/problems, answering questions, & sending paperwork as necessary.
- Photography for club events and other needed images.
- Handle prospective members by answering questions, providing literature, scheduling appointments, and taking prospect tours as needed.
- Extra but necessary tasks such as event setup (special events) & optimizing Kids Camp registration practices.
- Works with PGA TOUR HQ’s Marketing and Creative teams on numerous club-related projects.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- 1-2 years administrative experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software and database programs.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written skills are a must.
- Excellent customer service skills with a high level of professionalism
