Qualifications – Here’s What You Need
- High school diploma with minimum five (5) years office experience supporting senior officials OR
Two-year college degree in Office Management, Business Administration, or related field with four (4) years office management experience.
- Active Secret clearance is required for this position.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
Minimum Skills:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to interface with personnel and other government agencies at all levels.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of office policies, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- High degree of independent judgment in researching regulations and determining relationships between guidelines and organizational efficiency.
- Knowledge of basic accounting skills helpful.

Working Conditions
- Work hours may start as early as 7:00am but Executive Assistant coverage must go until 5:00pm. The employee will work a regular schedule with a one-hour lunch schedule. This may be periodically reviewed and adjusted based on the needs of the office. Lunch hours and absences will be coordinated with the other Executive Assistant so there is constant coverage in the office (e.g. lunch hours will not overlap).
- Professional office environment, with the ability to work onsite in the main office.
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
- Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
- May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
- May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
- May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
