Schedule: Full-Time – 40 Hours Per Week (Monday–Friday)

Position Summary
MEMCO is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Office Administrator for a temporary full-time assignment in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to project management and field personnel while ensuring efficient office operations on an active construction project.
This position requires strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to project managers, superintendents, and field personnel.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and reports.
- Track and process employee timesheets and payroll-related paperwork.
- Assist with onboarding and maintaining employee records.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in company systems and spreadsheets.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and project-related documentation.
- Coordinate communication with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Schedule meetings, inspections, deliveries, and project activities.
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and visitor inquiries professionally.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
- Support daily office operations and perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of administrative or office experience required.
- Construction industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional and dependable work ethic.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or administrative certification preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in construction administration, project coordination, or office management is a plus.
