ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT � DEAN'S OFFICE
Preparation: The preferred candidate should have a minimum of three years' experience working in an administrative assistant/clerical role. Associate degree preferred.
Abilities: Office management/coordination abilities. Independent decision making, ability to exercise good judgment, accuracy, flexibility, and well-developed critical thinking skills. Ability to work in an environment with a hectic pace along with a high level of interaction with students, staff, and the public. Working knowledge of computer software programs, which may include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, or similar programs. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to handle highly confidential matters and materials with discretion. Ability to work independently as well as be a collaborative team player in completing assigned tasks and meeting deadlines. Excellent customer service skills including phone and in-person reception etiquette. Proficiency with office machines including fax, scanner, and copy machine.
Rate/Benefits: $20.50-$22.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience, with an excellent insurance package.
