We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and service-minded Mortgage Administrative Assistant to join our Mortgage Lending team. What You'll Do

As a Mortgage Administrative Assistant, you'll provide administrative and operational support to both our Mortgage Servicers and Mortgage Originators. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting mortgage servicing functions, including escrow analysis, tax disbursements, loan payoffs, and regulatory record maintenance.
• Maintaining mortgage-related records, including hazard and flood insurance documentation.
• Assisting with investor and industry-related processes, including MERS registrations, eNote transfers, and secondary market requirements.
• Partnering with Mortgage Loan Originators to gather documentation, order appraisals, and help prepare loan files for processing.
• Responding to member and internal inquiries regarding mortgage products and loan servicing.
• Maintaining accurate records across multiple systems and ensuring compliance with lending regulations and internal procedures.
• Preparing reports and completing administrative tasks within established deadlines and service standards.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is organized, adaptable, and committed to providing outstanding member service. The ideal candidate enjoys working with details, learning new systems, and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, data entry, banking, lending, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and comfort learning new software systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Notary Public commission and registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS) in accordance with S.A.F.E. Act requirements.

Bonus Points For

• Experience working in a financial institution, mortgage, real estate, or lending environment.
• Familiarity with mortgage servicing, loan origination processes, or regulatory compliance requirements.
