Annual, incremental pay increases are given for each year of service with the EVSC in this role if an employee has worked at least 120 days in a school year. New employees will begin on year 1.

EVSC employees have access to the EVSC Wee Care Learning Centers. The Wee Care program provides a quality early learning experience for employees' children as young as six weeks through age five at a special employee rate.
This position will automatically be enrolled in the Public Employees' Retirement Fund (PERF) through the state of Indiana, which includes a defined benefit (Pension) as well as an Annuity Savings Account (ASA). Employees may also participate in a 403(b) Plan. Enrolling in the 403(b) plan allows employees to save for their retirement by making a pre-tax salary deferral contributions to the Plan.

SUMMARY:
Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Dean's Office by coordinating student discipline processes, maintaining accurate records, communicating with students and families, and ensuring efficient daily office operations while delivering exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Answer incoming telephone calls, respond to routine inquiries, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Prepare, type, and maintain correspondence, reports, and other documents related to student discipline and due process.
- Ensure compliance with district policies and applicable legal requirements regarding the release of students to parents, guardians, or other authorized individuals.
- Prepare, organize, and distribute due process documentation in accordance with district procedures.
- Notify students and parents/guardians regarding in-school suspensions and other discipline-related matters.
- Enter and maintain discipline referrals in the student information system and generate related correspondence and documentation.
- Prepare daily call slips and other materials needed by the Dean to support student meetings and interventions.
- Foster positive relationships by providing courteous, professional, and responsive customer service to students, families, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and personnel information in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and district procedures.
- Schedule meetings and conferences between the Dean, parents/guardians, students, and staff as needed.
- Provide administrative support and serve as a backup for other school secretaries to ensure efficient office operations and continuity of services.
- Maintain regular attendance.
