Job Overview
Performs administrative and office support activities providing customer service, clerical, secretarial, processing, mail sorting/delivery services, and/or internal Financial related duties, which may require varying degrees of independent judgment. Positions in this series normally support a Unit, Division, and/or Department.
Salary
Hiring Range (annual) $34,320 - $39,520
* Internal rates may vary based on the selected candidate's current grade
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the Billing Administrative Assistant position will possess strong mathematical and analytical skills to effectively review and resolve utility billing issues. They should have experience working with billing software and processing invoices, along with the ability to manage time efficiently to meet daily deadlines. A high school diploma or GED is required; additional education is preferred. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
