DESCRIPTION
Skip-a-Long Childhood Centers, part of SAL Community Services, is the Quad Cities area’s leading provider of early childhood care and education. We provide a safe, secure and supportive environment centered on how playing can charge the mind of the children we care for.
As an Office Manager on our team, you will perform duties like:
- Greets all visitors and responds to inquiries
- Answers the telephone, directs phone calls and/or takes and delivers appropriate messages; receives, sorts, logs, and distributes mail
- Updates the office board with staff/children absences and other messages
- Prepares letters, charts, reports, memoranda; proofreads typed material; maintains accurate and current records manually and on the computer

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A full list of job responsibilities will be provided prior to an interview. Education and Experience
Required: High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of knowledge in an office setting to understand office procedures and practices to include skill in the use of modern office equipment, such as a 10-key calculator, fax machine, scanner, copier, computer, various software and related technology; ability to type or key with speed and accuracy.
