You will be the Senior Administrative Assistant serving as the primary support hub for OJ Sanchez, President Aeronautics. This role blends high‑level administrative expertise with strategic project coordination, acting as a trusted liaison between executives, internal departments, and external partners.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Administrative Assistant you will provide high‑level administrative expertise and strategic project coordination, serving as the trusted liaison among the President, internal departments, and external partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the President for internal and external meetings, handling scheduling, emails, meeting notices, and phone messages.
- Proactively anticipating and resolving issues such as scheduling conflicts while maintaining the highest confidentiality.
- Managing detailed travel arrangements, including domestic and international itineraries, corporate aircraft scheduling, expense reporting, and credit‑card reconciliation.
- Interacting effectively with senior‑level customers, suppliers, and corporate personnel.
- Collaborating flexibly and taking on additional duties to ensure exceptional organizational performance, often prioritizing work under tight deadlines.
- Calendar management: prioritizing, scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Coordinating complex domestic and international travel itineraries.
- Maintaining and tracking task lists, ensuring the secure flow of sensitive and proprietary information.
- Researching, drafting, and finalizing basic documents and information.
- Providing audio/visual support for meetings.
- Performing general administrative duties: answering phones, managing supplies, filing, mailings, and organizing meeting spaces.
- Building and influencing strong relationships within the executive administrative team as the senior‑most professional.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Willingness to work regular overtime (6‑8 hours per week), including evenings, Fridays, and occasional weekends.

Basic Qualifications• Proficient computer skills and an advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications (especially PowerPoint, Excel and Teams).
• Extensive and recent administrative assistant experience supporting executive-level client(s).
• Experience maintaining complicated calendars, work and re-work meeting requests and scheduling.
• Experience with Travel Planning and Expense reporting for Leader.
• Experience prioritizing tasks and manage time with limited supervision.
• Exceptional organizational skills (e.g. filing systems).
Desired skills• Efficient and effective communications skills (verbal and written).
• Act with diplomacy and discretion with customers, colleagues, and superiors.
• Effective and collaborative interpersonal organizational skills.
• Familiarity with LM administrative tasks and systems, especially Concur, budget tracking/resolution and purchased supplies resolution (LMPurchase to Pay).
• VTC operation skills a plus.
• Ability to be a self-starter in low periods of business cycle activity…take initiative to find useful endeavors that serve the office well.
• Executive Administrative support experience within Aeronautics
• Candidate must possess ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $82,300 - $145,130. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
