QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proof of high school graduate or equivalent; college credits with office skills training or equivalent business school training preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of administrative secretarial experience; experience in public education settings preferred.
- Knowledge of school district organization, operations and administrative policies, procedures and business practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Forms) required. Adobe and eSchoolPlus experience preferred.
- Effective verbal (receptive and expressive) and written communication skills, detail-oriented and ability to problem solve a wide variety of complex and confidential matters.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, multi-task numerous complex administrative activities and manage time with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions; ability to maintain emotional control under stress.

SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$39,742/CP-6
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the 2025-2026 school year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Arrange Level II discipline hearings for DAEP placements/expulsions and maintain all records.
- Assist campuses with questions regarding Student Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Texas Education Code Chapter 37.
- Create discipline reports in Cognos and Excel; maintain and complete district and state discipline reports.
- Ensure integrity of discipline entries in eSchoolPlus.
- Maintain Director’s calendar.
- Assist in the preparation of department budget and perform recordkeeping tasks associated.
- Order distribution and media supplies as needed.
- Perform general secretarial duties including correspondence, filing, and phone activity.
- Provide training for campus discipline entry personnel.
- Provide support for campus APs and discipline entry personnel with daily questions about coding.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Services.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
