Essential Job FunctionsThe Plant Admin Assistant will partner with the Area Managers and report to the Plant Manager to support the colleagues of the Jackson, TN facility. This position perform general administrative duties which include but are not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of clerical duties including copying, faxing, mailing, answering phones and filing.
- Attention to detail with the ability to locate discrepancies is essential for this position
- Ensure confidentiality in all matters
- Provide guidance and support to ADM colleagues timely and accurately.
- Ability to set goals, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlins
- Must be extremely efficient, organized, and enjoy assisting others
- Create, proofread, and distribute documents
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent data entry keyboard and ten key skills
- Must be able to hear and speak clearly; read, comprehend, and communicate, orally and in writing in order to effectively communicate in person or by phone
- Perform duties in a safe manner, utilizing all approved safety equipment, and successfully completes all safety training and certification requirements.
- May perform reasonably similar or related duties as assigned.
- Greet guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
Job Requirements- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three years of general office/accounting experience
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Physical Requirements- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs from waist to shoulder on an occasional basis
- No push/pull requirement
- Must be able to walk 1-3 hours
- Must be able to sit 5-8 hours
- Must be able to squat/kneel on an occasional basis
- Must be able to climb stairs/ladders on an occasional basis
- Constant computer/keyboarding

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
