Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide highly skilled administrative support to the IT Department by performing a variety of complex administrative and general office management duties. This is accomplished by assisting the IT Department with overseeing and administering fiscal control policies and processes within the department and performing related work as required.

Examples of Duties
- Provides administrative support to the IT leadership;
- Manages departmental expenditures and purchasing, ensuring budgetary compliance;
- Manages and oversees IT's interdepartmental expenses, verifying computer related purchases, and software maintenance agreements;
- Provides the correct expense account when charging purchases interdepartmentally;
- Manages the organization’s copier program, including evaluating lease options, assessing departmental needs, coordinating with vendors for contract renewals and equipment maintenance/replacement, and processing invoices;
- Oversees the department's personnel activities by managing payroll changes, keeping accurate records, and supporting recruitment efforts;
- Prepares and compiles reports as requested;
- Assists and supports IT budgeting: compiling reports, tracking expenditures, and assisting with annual budget preparation and maintenance;
- Manages departmental travel requests; and
- Performs other assigned duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree or higher in public or business administration, office management, or a related field; and
- Over three (3) years of experience in providing office and administrative support to management staff; with five (5) to ten (10) years of experience preferred.
- Notary Public certification preferred but not required.

- Excel: Build and maintain spreadsheets using formulas, charts, and pivot tables.
- PowerPoint: Develop clear, visually organized presentations for technical and leadership audiences.
- Teams: Coordinate virtual meetings, manage channels, share files, and support collaboration.
- SharePoint/OneDrive: Organize departmental files, manage permissions, and maintain document libraries.
- Power BI: Create and maintain dashboards and reports, connect to data sources, perform basic data modeling, and present insights clearly for IT and departmental decision-making.
