Position Summary
Enfield Public Schools is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented clerical professional to support the operations of the Pupil Services Office. This role is integral to advancing the district’s mission by ensuring efficient coordination of student support services, accurate record management, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Coordinate and organize outplacement processes, including documentation, communication with providers, and monitoring timelines
- Support transportation oversight, including coordination of specialized transportation services and troubleshooting issues
- Prepare, process, and track billing related to outplacements, contracted services, and transportation
- Serve as a point of contact for families, staff, and external agencies, providing professional and responsive communication
- Preparing materials for case management and review meetings
- Develop and manage efficient filing and tracking systems to ensure timely access to information
- Utilize district systems and technology platforms to maintain accurate data and generate reports
- Perform additional clerical and administrative duties as assigned to support the department’s goals
- Contractual compliance
- Duties set-forth by the Director of Pupil Services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred
- Prior clerical or administrative experience, preferably in an educational or public sector environment
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule
This is a full-time, 12-month union clerical position with benefits in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement (clerical labor contract here).
